Collaboration To Maximise Online Events

Online Eventing Part 2: With our local economy at junk status, and the effects of COVID wreaking havoc on planning, the event industry has to adapt both in formats, and time and money spent on putting them together.

And while economising is nothing new, for the foreseeable future, it seems eventing MUST include an online component and it MUST deliver quality on a shoestring budget. Doing this is not easy, but like you, many industry professionals are looking to maximise business opportunities and this means collaboration:

  1. Using Event Software that works
Partnering with the right software supplier (like SES and Momice of course) will not only save you time, hassle and unwanted costs, but will dramatically enhance the overall event experience.
  2. Using The Right Technical Partners
When it comes to screens, people want high-quality broadcasting and online eventing is no exception! Find a reputable and reliable AV partner that can integrate with your event software, so you can ensure this fair chunk of your budget is money well spent!
  1. Using the Right Venue
While many conference venues have adapted to COVID protocols, some have done it better than others. Venue costs are usually the lion’s share of the budget so choose a venue that knows how to conference-in-COVID.

And lastly, use the Barney Principle! Unless within 1.5m, sharing is still caring. Collaborating with industry colleagues and service providers will not trigger discounted partnership rates but it will open up a bigger market of potential clients. Remember….. 30% of the pie is better than 0%.
